Any avid Egotastic reader knows that we love ladies in lingerie. What red-blooded American doesn't? I also enjoy from time to time watching MMA fighting. I always admire people who are able to do things I cannot. Seeing as I usually got my ass kicked whenever I got into a fight as a kid, I admire anyone who can actually win a fight. But what if I told you that you could combine these two things, lingerie and MMA-style fighting, into one better thing. Behold the Lingerie Fighting Championship. The rules are pretty simple. You get two ladies in lingerie and put them in a cage and have them do battle. It's sometimes the simplest concepts that are the best. The phenomenon started, unsurprisingly, in Las Vegas but has now spread to England where it is being accused of being sexist.
But is it sexist? I guess there is no reason per se that the ladies have to be in sexy lingerie. After all, Ronda Rousey fights in a special sports bra and shorts. But aren't you also showing that women can be strong and kick ass? I wouldn't presume to mess with these ladies. They'd mess me up. If anything it teaches men not to believe that women are defenseless. They can take care of themselves. Isn't that the very definition of feminism?
