The Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders Lead off the Early NFL Lines for Week Eight

Yes, the Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders lead this thing off because the Brady Quinn(!) led Chiefs are favored against the Oakland Raiders this week. Granted, it's only by two, and the lines are designed to get money bet on both teams in any given game, but still. Brady Quinn?

So week eight starts Thursday night with Tampa Bay heading into Minnesota for an NFC North vs. South battle. The Vikings are a touchdown favorite, but Christian Ponder can't throw for only 58 yards again. Maybe you can do that against the reeling (and no longer surprising) Cardinals, but Tampa is playing good football right now. Still, the road teams on Thursday nights usually don't do too well.

The four teams on byes this week are all from the AFC, with the Ravens, Bills, Bengals and Texans all getting the week off. Houston will use the time to heal up and get even better, the Ravens will wonder what the hell is going on, and the Bengals and Bills will try to figure out a way to salvage their seasons.

The game of the week looks to be Denver and New Orleans on Sunday night. Drew Brees has two straight games with four TD passes, and Peyton Manning is looking the Manning of old. Shootout? Maybe! That San Francisco at Arizona game on Monday night, by the way, with two top five defenses, is set at 37.5 for the over/under. Good luck this week.
