Who knew that at its core, Game of Thrones is a really, really good metaphor for what it's like to be stuck in high school? Apparently the team that started School of Thrones, a new web series that's complete with a midget Lannister, hipster Starks, homo-erotic Loras and Renly and a hot girl to take over as spirit birthing red-head Melisandre, did because they put together one helluva production showcasing just that. It's like Clueless and Glee gave birth while reading Lord of the Rings.

Actually, what's most impressive with the first episode is the title sequence, which creepily recreates that of the actual show with animated maps springing to life. Someone spent a lot of time and money on this. And unlike most web series where it's some bad improv team talking about things girls in San Francisco actually say, this is one you'll want to come back to watch again.
