Wow, first we told you how Iran wants to sue Argo, now they're just going to come right out and say that Ben Affleck is actually a covert spy working for the CIA, the same agency as his character in the movie and that the film itself is 'a covert operation disguised as a movie... and that its purpose is to convince the American people to go along with Israel's plan to drag America into a war on Iran.' Well look, I could believe you had you said that Gigli was actually a government propaganda mission, because there really is no other explanation for why anyone involved in that thing made it, other than they literally had a gun to their heads from Deep Throat.

Where did Iran get this information from? If you look at the original article, the source is harder to follow than the ones the American diplomats have to take from the Canadian Ambassador's house in Argo. But it looks like a combination of conspiracy theorists and crackpots. So fear not, Affleck isn't shooting off to assassinate the Prime Minister of Malaysia anytime soon. He'll be right here, where we want him, filming a cameo in Clerks 3 (blechh). Remember when film spies just shagged a lot of women and attended swingin' beach parties? Check out the gallery for our favorite 60s spies who still have a better chance of being actual agents than Affleck.
