Stanley Kubrick created one of the best horror/mystery movies when he brought Stephen King's classic novel The Shining to the big screen. Who can forget Jack Nicholson's classic performance as the bat shit insane Jack Torrance? It's one of those movies that's so good it is almost perfect. I mean, Shelly Duvall was kind of goofy but other than that. Stephen King famously didn't like it. I wonder what King would think of  Nick DenBoer and Davy Force's masterpiece of mash-up weirdness The Chickening. What is that, you may ask? Imagine The Shining but there are a lot of chickens, melting faces, aliens, and just plain craziness. The filmmakers describe it as,

"The Chickening is the first of its kind in remixed, augmented cinema. It is a theatrical trailer for a fictional film in which Stanley Kubrick's classic film The Shining has been artfully transformed into a new, poultry-infused comedy adventure by digitally altering the film to create a new narrative. This new style of filmmaking is a hilarious collision of classic films with modern day visual effects; "Cinegraffiti"—the ultimate neo-nostalgic visual feast for this digital age."

Listen, I've seen some weird stuff in my day, but this is one of the strangest effing things I've ever seen.
