The 5 Hottest NFL Cheerleaders

The Baltimore Colts were the first NFL team to feature cheerleaders, back in 1954. They were part of the team's marching band and weren't given any special promotion. In 1972, the Dallas Cowboys took the idea to the next level, favoring sexy, revealing outfits and dance routines over college-style acrobatics (and actual cheers, for that matter).

Today, 26 of the 32 NFL teams* have official cheerleading squads. And many of those cheerleaders are beautiful, athletic, and talented. Here are the five sexiest cheerleaders in the NFL. (YMMV)

5. Tamara - Miami Dolphins

It makes sense that Miami's squad would have an international flair, and scrumptious Tamara is from Argentina. She has a dog named Osito and her dream job is to act in a Hollywood movie. That dream may come true: She had the guts to go skydiving (only once, she says), and she's "really good at imitating people," which could come in handy for an actress.

4. Amanda - Oakland Raiders

Reasons that Raiderette Amanda stands out among almost every other NFL cheerleader: She's of Asian descent. Her little sister Allison is also on the squad. And her hobby is yoga. Sound like an attractive deal?

3. Willnelda - New Orleans Saints

A weird name, but a sexy Saintsation. We know a lot about Willnedla: Here favorite food is crawfish, her favorite movie is White Chicks, her favorite song is "Love Yours" by J. Cole. We also know she wants to be a child psychologist someday. And we know her best habit is "smiling and laughing" and she looks killer in a bikini.

2. Ellie - Kansas City Chiefs

There aren't a lot of redhead cheerleaders, but if you have a thing for them, Ellie is here for you. She attends UMKC and describes herself as a "full-time student" -- how does she get it all done? She wants to be a teacher, a dance instructor, and a "loving mother and wife." I like her favorite quote, too, from Dr. Seuss: "Why fit in when you can stand out?" With those crimson locks and freckles, standing out isn't a problem for Ellie.

1. KaShara - Dallas Cowboys

How can you not pick a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader as #1? KaShara is ideal: A Southern girl (from Kentucky), blonde, blue-eyed, slim, cute. She has a degree in physical fitness education and is a gym, fitness, and cheer instructor, as well as a teacher (there's another fantasy for you). And this girls knows her football: Instead of obvious choices like Emmitt Smith or Roger Staubach, her favorite former Dallas Cowboys player is Bill Bates. She likes Oreos and pink Starburst candies. Oh, and her nickname is "Kash."

*Buffalo, Chicago, Cleveland, Green Bay, New York Giants, and Pittsburgh don't have cheerleaders, presumably because they play outdoors and the girls would freeze their asses off. But that doesn't stop the New York Jets Flight Crew, cheerleaders who perform in the same stadium as the wimpy Giants but get the job done.
