GAMING

Gaming isn’t the cheapest of pastimes. I remember the days when new SNES and N64 releases cost, frankly, freaking ridiculous amounts for what you were getting. Now, the current gen is right up there with them.
I’m just a regular joe like all you good Ego-gents. I’m not some fancy-ass blinged out rapper rolling around on a bed made of banknotes and solid gold hos. Dollar dollar bills yo? Dollar dollar bills no, for the most part. I’m not lacking the ol’ cashtacular, I’m more of a miser really. You know what else costs too much? Official controllers, that’s what.
In the past, I’ve used cheap made-in-Hong-Kong bootleg pads because of that. They’re always shit, but they’re still a more attractive option for penny-pinching Scrooges everywhere. They wouldn’t be, though, if the more expensive official ones did something a little special to warrant their price. Something like this.
What you’re ogling is End Of Line Designs’ custom Star Wars Rebel controller. The OOAK design was shown off yesterday, in support of the worldwide Star Wars holiday that is May The Fourth. As any fan of the Force will tell you, this is looking pretty damn awesome right here.
Microsoft, if you got on board with these guys and started selling these, I’d totally start to rethink my whole being-a-cheapass outlook.
