You have to read a healthy amount into actress Amber Tamblyn's recently shared story of her own sexual assault before you realize she's indicting Donald Trump for her rape only indirectly. Trump's a pig not unlike most every single other wealthy playboy. They cocksure men exude a sexual confidence because a billion in the bank is a decent closer and they do very well with women. They say things out loud many other guys are thinking, but refrain from uttering because they're not currently banging multiple Eastern European supermodels and lack the resume to sound like a prick. It's a taunting end zone dance for guys who win outside of sports.
Men understand the difference between a rapist and an arrogant prick who peacocks about his sexual conquests. Women are unable to make such distinction which is why men make sure the room is clear of women before making such statements. Presumably women communicate differently without boyfriends or husbands in the room as well. Amber Tamblyn explains that Trump's derogatory and degrading use of the term "pussy" hurts personally because that's where she was raped:
That part of my body, which the current Presidential Nominee of the United States Donald Trump recently described as something he’d like to grab a woman by, was bruised from my ex-boyfriend’s violence for at least the next week. I had a hard time wearing jeans. I couldn’t sleep without a pillow between my legs to create space.
That's a metaphoric reach. As is the fact that Trump's sexual braggadocio led Amber Tamblyn's ex-boyfriend to violently assault her.
Rape culture underpinnings range anywhere from male DNA merely existing on the planet to Muslim jihadists systematically raping thousands of women in conquered cities, with a heavy bias toward the former being worse according to most New York feminists.
There has to be some nuance associated with judging crass behavior or else every man is a rapist for trying to get laid and every woman is a gold-digger preferring a man with a decent job to that broke sweet guy that only wins in the movies. Assigning Trump a 10 out of 10 on the rapey-man scale throws off the legitimacy of the scale. It also belies the more prescient point that he's a huge a-hole. There are a ton of assholes out there. Not nearly as man rapists. You'll be thankful for only meeting the former. Consider honest scouting.
