Terrell Owens is easily one of the best wide receivers to ever play the game. The numbers speak for themselves: 1,078 receptions, 15,934 yards, and 153 touchdowns. Even though he is a bit on the older side (38), the workout warrior is probably in better shape then the vast majority of wide receivers in the NFL today. Yet, he and his potentially toxic persona is unemployed.

But maybe not for long!

T.O. is on his way to Seattle to see Pete Carroll and the Seahawks for a tryout. It's hard to imagine anyone actually questioning his talents. Bringing him in for a tryout gives the 'Hawks a chance to see how well he can move on his surgically repaired knee before talking money. Although since teams have not been beating down his door any contract discussions will be short and sweet. It's not as if Owens has any other options.

This could be exactly what TO needs. Seattle has a solid running back in Marshawn Lynch (assuming he doesn't get suspended for long), another quality receiver in Sidney Rice (Braylon Edwards will be either the No. 3 WR or get cut), and a potential gunslinger in QB Matt Flynn (Tarvaris Jackson will possibly be dropped and rookie Russell Wilson will be QB2). The scenario could be one he can thrive in.

Of course he'll have to show that he doesn't mind the team grinding away with Lynch ad Rice being the No. 1 option in the passing game. Hopefully being out of the game since the 2010 season will give him the necessary perspective to be glad he is back in the game and not worry about his role.
