On Tuesday, Quentin Tarantino dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to to promote his upcoming western, The Hateful Eight. And since he was coming straight from the film's red carpet premier, he brought the entire cast of the film with him.
The main topic of conversation? Quentin Tarantino, mostly. Tim Roth talked about what it was like to audition for him. Walton Goggins talked about how cool it was to tell friends he was in a Tarantino western. And Bruce Dern just flat out called him a genius...at which point Kimmel jokes that the renowned auteur probably just jizzed his pants.
But the most interesting thing discussed was Tarantino's famous promise to cut himself off at 10 films.
"If I only think that I only have two movies, well, that keeps it at the tip of the spear," the eccentric auteur explains. "That means those ones better be good and I better mean everything about them."
You can watch the entire segment up above. Or, if that quote is good enough for you, you can watch the trailer for Hateful Eight below. It hits theaters Christmas day.
