If you're like me, then ever since Life's Too Short went off the air, you've been on a serious little person withdrawal. You keep looking down at your knees, hoping to find a dwarf, elf, or even woodland satyr dancing around your heels, throwing gold coins up in the air and asking you riddles interspersed with flute playing. That's why I was so excited to wake up this morning and see that there's a brand new trailer for the new Hobbit movie to give me my diminutive creature fix.
It's been nine years since we last got to visit Middle Earth on the big screen (well, eight-and-a-half by the time all the endings to Return of the King finally finished) and we just couldn't be happier to be returning to the Shire for the brand new trilogy from Peter Jackson.
The first movie of the series, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, comes to theaters December 14th.
