Sydney Sweeney has been featured in the upcoming issue of Story + Rain magazine where she talks about her new role as Connie Britton's daughter Olivia in the HBO series The White Lotus. The show has been pretty great so far and we're only 3 episodes in, but that might have to do with the iconic Jennifer Coolidge's performance on the show.
Sydney talked about creating her character's backstory and life, something she does with every new role, and said that while creating Olivia, she focused on the whole "I hate mom" vibe of a teenage girl and went with that. Read the full interview over here!
"You know, it's funny. Olivia and Paula are always reading all of these very immersive novels on their vacations, so I created a book that looks like she's reading something very intelligent and high brow. Then, when you open it up, and it's just a teen girl diary. I created her entire life like I do for all my other ones, but hers is visually more fun and spunky, with an 'I hate my mom' kind of vibe."
