Substitute Teacher Fired After Shopping for Sex Toys During Class!

Do you want to spice up a lecture on Garett Morgan, the inventor of the traffic light?  Don't shop for sex toys in the middle of it.  A substitute teacher in Long Island found that out the hard way.

The Valley Stream High School substitute was fired after doing some sex toy shopping on her work laptop and displaying it on the board in front of the entire class.

The principal of the school emailed parents to let them know they took the matter seriously, "I am dismayed by the action taken by this substitute teacher, but can assure you that I and the district have taken this matter very seriously and action has been taken."

They also made sure to have guidance counselors available just in case any of the students were traumatized by the incident.

I don't know how anyone would need counseling from this, it's not like the sub was using the sex toys in front of the class, but this is where we are as a people.  A teacher can't do some simple sex toy shopping without getting fired.

What's next, no grade adjustments for students that flirt with the teacher?
