‘Star Wars: Rebels’ Season 4 Trailer Looks Suitably Epic (VIDEO)

One week from Monday, the final season of Star Wars: Rebels debuts, and those of us who've been watching from the beginning are sure to get a little misty-eyed over this suitably epic new trailer. Arguably the best Star Wars-related cartoon series ever—yes, it's even better than Ewoks—Rebels was the first Star Wars product of the Disney deal and it set the tone for a lot of what has come since.

Many new concepts that are being explored in the films—such as Force Sensitivity and the rumored Darksaber that may appear in upcoming Star Wars movies (Sabine wields it in this new trailer)—began on the show. Set 15 years before the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, the series follows the crew of The Ghost as they battle the spreading influence of the Empire and help to form the burgeoning Rebel Alliance.

It will be a shame to see the show go, but better to leave on a high note than overstay your welcome, like so many other things these days. Star Wars: Rebels Season 4 premieres on Disney XD on Monday, October 16.
