The movie has been several years in the making, and fans of the franchise can't be any more excited. Apparently, the cast and crew of Star Trek 2 feel the same because they just can't keep their mouths shut about interesting details from the movie. Not that we're complaining, because we're more than happy to know more about the sequel to 2009's Star Trek.

Director J. J. Abrams has everyone on lockdown, so the whole world is still clueless about the movie's plot. But actors Chris Pine and Alex Kurtzman did some talking recently, and while we still don't know much about the movie's plot per se, they do offer some interesting tidbits on what the movie is going to be like.

Actor Chris Pine raved about the 3D sequences when he spoke with Ain't It Cool.com earlier.

The movie is relentless, and for the visually inclined people who want to see major sequences, there are a couple specifically that I think... I'm not a huge 3-D fan, but I think will be incredible. But what I'm more excited about and what I think they did so well is that really the story is that much better, and the journey that these guys go on is that much more.

Meanwhile, writer and producer Alex Kurtzman talked about how the movie's crew is working out.

The assumption that we did not want to make was that just because he's in the chair and they're on the bridge together that they're the crew that you remember from the original series. They're not - the crew from the original series had gone on many, many journeys, they were a well-oiled machine in terms of how they function, and these characters are still figuring out who they are and who they are to each other. And I did not want to jump so far ahead that we missed a really important emotional connection to that transition for them.

We don't even have a title yet, but actor Noel Clark is obviously privy to that information, although he won't reveal what it is, saying: "Yes, obviously [I know what the title is]. Am I going to tell you? No."

Star Trek 2 hits theaters on May 17th, 2013 and stars Zoe Saldana, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, and John Cho.
