On one cold morning, many years ago, my groggy roommate chucked his alarm clock across the room when it went off. It broke into a hundred tiny pieces and every so often, you'd hear someone curse in pain when they'd step on a particularly sharp piece of plastic.
Needless to say, that was the day of a major test, which he missed because of said alarm-clock-chucking activities. He failed that class.
If you're like most people, then you abhor alarm clocks. But they're a necessary evil if you actually want to make something of your life. I wouldn't recommend a clock if you're especially moody in the morning; instead, I think you'll find the Sleep If U Can alarm clock app more useful.
The premise is simple: you'll be asked to take a picture of something when you fire up the app. I suggest something like the bathroom sink, the toilet, or something that's far away from your bed. Set the alarm, and go to bed. When it goes off the next morning, you'll have to take a picture of the exact same thing you took earlier in order to turn it off.
Clever, isn't it?
