It turns out the rumors are right. It has finally been confirmed that funnyman Jim Carrey will be joining the cast as Colonel Stars. Filming for the superhero comedy officially begins today and we can't be more excited at the final outcome, which will hit theaters sometime in 2013. Director Jeff Wadlow also tweeted a couple of pictures from the set, one of them featuring the very busty and muscular Mother Russia.
James Cameron'sAvatar was one of 2009's huge hit, so we all knew a sequel or two was coming after the final numbers from the box office were tallied. It looks like we'll get both sequels in a couple of years, as both are reportedly going to be shot back-to-back. Earlier reports stated that there would be a total of three sequels, but it seems like producer Jon Landau has nixed the idea of a third sequel.
Lastly, we've got the future of the James Bond franchise to talk about. Daniel Craig has done a pretty bang-up job as the masterful Agent 007, and it looks like he'll be staying on for two more movies after Skyfall. Of course, nothing is set in stone, but it's not exactly bad news if it were actually true either. No official confirmation has come from Sony, though, but the rumors are rampant that Craig will be starring in the 24th and 25th movies in the James Bond franchise.
