If there's one comic book film that I know virtually everyone is looking forward to, it's got to be Deadpool 2. Comic book fans and non-fans alike flocked to see the first film last year, and the second one is promising to be another hugely fun time at the movies. It also looks like production is well underway, as Ryan Reynolds tweeted this pic of him in costume trying once again to get into the X-Mansion.
It's nice to see Reynolds finally swimming in success after he bounced from one huge failure to another. Most people's career would have been over after the third or fourth flop, but Reynolds persisted and put his reputation on the line to get Deadpool made, and it paid off handsomely. It certainly didn't hurt that Deadpool was in his sweet spot where he could be a sarcastic yet lovable jerk, something he tried and failed to do in Green Lantern.
Deadpool 2, co-starring Morena Baccarin, Josh Brolin, and Zasie Beetz, and directed by Atomic Blonde's David Leitch, hits theaters on June 1, 2018.
