Old time country singer Randy Howard was killed by a bounty hunter who was trying to bring him to court to face trial for driving around drunk with his gun. This happened in Lynchburg Tennessee, as you would expect. Although it's unclear if Howard was running moonshine in a T-top Chevy Charger at the time of his arrest we'll just go ahead and make that assumption. When the bounty hunter arrived at his house Howard fired a shotgun and missed, at which point the bounty hunter shot him dead. Men don't die like men anymore. It's always fibromyalgia or the gout. He went out the way a country singer should. Howard was well known on the country music circuit, having performed with Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, no doubt getting into many dust ups at various hoedowns and Hootenannies. He went out in a blaze of glory and for that we salute him. Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be dead cowboys.
