Damn it, Sony. In the fancy-ass Internet age of 2016, we don’t expect to be kept waiting. We like our news instantly, Tweeted right at our faces about 2.4 nanoseconds before it actually happens. All this connectivity and social media breeds a generation of impatient bastards, there’s no doubt about that.
So what the hell, PlayStation? Microsoft hit us with their Games with Gold line up for September a week ago. There’s no excuse for you to be just dropping your infotastic now, like a hungover university student barrelling into the room in an ass-on-fire hurry and throwing their paper at the professor four seconds before the deadline.
That kind of BS doesn’t fly around here, buddy boy. Still, now we’re all here, we might as well take a quick ogle at what’s coming to PS3, PS4 and the Vita (whatever that is) this month.
The biggest name for September is Journey, the unique indie experience everyone seems to have such a boner for. That’ll be available for PS4, joined by the God of War-sounding Lords of the Fallen. Down PS3 way, you can get yourself Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, as well as the first-person adventure weirdery that is Datura.
Vita users aren’t forgotten either, with Amnesia: Memories and Badland up for download. If any of these sound like something you want to get in on, they’ll all be available from September 6.
