With the end of the Monday Night Football game between the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles every team in the league has played at least eight games making half of the '12 NFL season officially over.
Should the season have ended and a league-wide MVP need to be picked now, there would be plenty of quality candidates for the honor. A lot of the faces are not new to MVP talks; many have even won the award a few times. However, this time a lot of the usual candidates are in the back of the pack.
Tom Brady has played brilliantly so far this season. Aaron Rodgers has the Packers turned around and playing well. For once Eli Manning has the Giants playing consistently well. Let's not forget Arian Foster, Reggie Wayne, Matt Ryan, J.J. Watt, or my pick for the award--Peyton Manning (17 TDs, 4 INTs, highest QB rating in the league--any doubters?)!
