It's kind of boring when Hollywood does serious remakes of old movies and TV shows. But comedies are a different story. All we really want out of a comedy are laughs. So if you can get new laughs out of an old formula, great. And if it just so happens that you can do it while also serving up a bunch of really hot people in swimsuits, even better.

This, of course, is what Paramount is doing with the Baywatch movie. They're turning a campy 90s TV show into a (hopefully) hilarious 10s movie. And they've loaded the cast with good-looking people like Priyanka Chopra, Dwayne "The Rock" JohnsonZac Effron, Kelly Rohrbach, and Alexandra Daddario.  The only thing they need now are cameos from David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson

Unfortunately, it sounds like negotiations with Pam have hit a snag. Here's what she had to say to ET Canada:

"I haven't turned it down completely yet. But I have turned down what they offered me. But we'll see what happens…I haven't even read the script. I have no idea what it's about… ‘Baywatch' was such a huge part of my life. And really they're trying to do an homage and you know it's an honor to have them to want me to be a part of it so bad."

Is it the money she did not like? Or is it the role? That we don't know. But let's hope they work things out.

As for David Hasselhoff, right now we have no idea if they're talking to him. But I'm sure he'll make an appearance.
