Osi Umenyiora Agrees That Bob Griffin Can Be Called RG3

Earlier this summer New York Giant defensive lineman Osi Umenyiora was a little annoyed at all the Robert Griffin III talk, especially when everyone was calling him RG3. This is what Osi said back in July.

Who is this RG3 guy you guys keep talking about? You talking about Bob Griffin? You guys are giving him a cool nickname already and everything. When he does anything in the NFL we're gonna call him RG3. Right now he's Bob Griffin.

Fair enough. But naturally after Griffin's debut game that earned him the NFC Player of the Week, someone was bound to bring up that quote. That someone was Mark Garafalo of USA Today Sports. And here's what Osi had to say now.

Oh, um, RGIII?" the two-time Pro Bowl selection told USATODAY Sports. "What is he? What does he like to be called? What does he want me to call him?"

Yep. That didn't take long at all.
