When I was a kid I desperately wanted to be a ninja. Ninjas was where is was at in the mid-80's. But what could a chubby Latino from the suburbs of Texas do? It's not like there was a ninja school by the freeway next to the Arby's. It turns out that it's not easy to become a ninja even if you are in Japan, especially for a foreigner. That is until now. Japan is actively looking for people who want to be ninjas. The Aichi prefecture is offering about $1600 a month for people with acrobatic skills and some ability throwing ninja stars. They say they want to use the six new hires to promote tourism. I believe it's so they can secretly use them to assassinate rivals in other prefectures. All applications must be submitted by March 22.
Who knew you could just put an ad in the paper to find ninjas? Japan truly is an amazing place.
