New ‘Paranormal Activity 4’ Trailer Makes Me Wish I’d Invested in That Webcam Porn Company

If there is one thing the Paranormal Activity franchise is known for, it's bone-chilling thrills caught on home video. But if there are two things the franchise is known for it's that and it's packing it's trailers with footage that doesn't actually make it into the finished film. So take what you see in the above video with a grain of salt and don't get too attached.

The film takes place five years after Paranormal Activity 2, which ended with Katie kidnapping Hunter. It follows the life of Alice, her boyfriend Ben, her mother, and her brother Wyatt, as paranormal activity starts to occur in their home when Katie and Hunter (now called Robbie) move into the neighborhood. A laptop is one of the techniques in the film, as well as the Kinect as seen from the trailers.After Katie goes to the hospital Alice's Mother takes Robbie (Hunter) in, which leads to strange occurrences around the house.

Paranormal Activity 4 comes out October 19th.
