Allow me to take you inside a meeting room at Blitzway Toys...
Toy Bigwig 1: We should produce a line of high quality collectors statues based on that one Paul Verhoeven movie.
Toy Bigwig 2: Starship Troopers?
Toy Bigwig 1: No, the other one.
Toy Bigwig 2: Robocop?
Toy Bigwig 1: No you moron. The one with Sharon Stone.
Toy Bigwig 2: Ah, Total Recall.
Toy Bigwig 1: No damnit, Basic Instinct!
Toy Bigwig 2: Really?
Toy Bigwig 1: Yeah, we're gonna produce a statue that'll cost several hundred dollars based on that scene where she flashes her beaver for Newman from Seinfeld. People are gonna go nuts over it, it'll be a license to print money.
I mean, this conversation had to have taken place, right? How else do you account for this new one-quarter scale statue of Sharon Stone as Catherine Trammell in Paul Verhoeven's 1992 blockbuster Basic Instinct? It just doesn't make any sense to me at all, and unless it features a realistic mold of her snizz, I don't really see what the point of it is. Check out some more pictures of this high quality "Superb Scale Statue" in the gallery below and start socking away money for this thing if you have any intention of buying it.
