The best part about racing games --aside from the usually stunning visuals since racers have such few "moving parts" to animate-- is the chance to spend time with accurate, digital recreations of cars you'll never own, drive or be able to pronounce. The Ultimate Speed downloadable content pack for Need for Speed: Most Wanted offers new cars and new races that'll test your nerve and your intermediate Italian. You know the Lamborghini Murcielago that all of your favorite knucklehead rappers talk about has been around since 2001, before the iPod even had a click wheel and right when "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" was the best show on TV. Don't listen to knucklehead rappers about anything anymore, because the Lambo of choice now is the Aventador J (above). This freakin' thing has a 700 hp powerplant and comes built with no radio, no air conditioning, no windows and no roof because you need to be comfortable with the sound and bitter cold of your own fear. This car is the definition of danger. I think the only safety measure that comes standard is the steering wheel so you can bend this rocket ship down the street instead of just aiming and launching like you know you want to. Yeah, this is the leader of the pack of new cars featured in the Ultimate Speed DLC and it's as close as you'll probably ever get to this much Italian awesome until Monica Belucci shows up at your door with a steak and a bottle of bourbon.
