DLC, as we know, is all the freaking rage in games just now. It's a tactic not quite as dastardly and bastardly as microtransactions, but we hate it anyway.

If you're going to continue to support a title after release with quality, freshly-developed content, then sure, we're listening. On the other hand, if you're just going to sporadically sell us half-assed stuff that was locked on the disk at release, then screw you. Satan's got his pointiest ass-and-scrote-poking fork warming up down there in Hades with your name on it.

With all of that said, I'm sure a lot of you feel some kind of way about Mortal kombat X's run thus far. Since it dropped in early April last year, the game's hit us with a heaping helping of extra content. There have been more new characters, costumes and such than you could shake a freshly-lopped limb or spinal cord at.

The Kombat Pack gave us --among a freaking huge amount of other things—the chance to pit the Predator against badass-if-slightly-Village-People newcomer Erron Black. I begrudgingly approved. Now we've got gameplay footage of what's coming our way in 2016, and you'll want to check it out.

Late last year, some of the newcomers arriving in the Kombat Pack 2 were leaked. The Alien movies' legendary xenomorph, for one, along with horror icon Leatherface. Now Ed Boon's given us some actual gameplay, as I say. Feast your eyes:
