The Minnesota Vikings aren't taking any chances with the health of star running back Adrian Peterson, who's still recovering from ACL and MCL surgery. DB Jamarca Sanfordwas quoted as saying 'The rules are simple. Do not touch 28.'
Sanford said the defense was told that if they do touch Peterson, they're cut. Interesting philosophy, but if AP can't be touched, maybe he's not ready to be on the field. Besides, what if it's an accident? Or what if someone like Jared Allen bumps into Peterson? He's not getting cut. And what if he trips and re-injures himself? The Vikes going to to cut him?
I just hope Peterson isn't trying to get back too quickly and winds up further injuring his knee. He's too good and too fun to watch to not have around again.
