If you thought Mike Ehrmantraut, everyone's favorite murderous grandfather, was dead, you were right. But thanks to the magical power of prequels, he's back!

Jonathan Banks is set to reprise his role as the cop turned hit-man for the upcoming series, Better Call Saul. The much anticipated Breaking Bad spin-off will chronicle the exploits of shady lawyer Saul Goodman and his less-than-legal dealings with the criminal underworld. As such, his path will cross with Ehrmantraut, just as it did in Breaking Bad.

For the time being, Banks is the only Breaking Bad cast member besides Bob Odenkirk to sign on for Saul. However, Vince Gilligan has long hinted that other familiar faces will return, so keep an eye out for Huell, Patrick, and maybe even Gus Fring, if we're lucky.

Better Call Saul is expected to begin airing in November on AMC.
