Well, this should make Eagles fans feel better. Rob Vito, the CEO of a company called Unequal Technologies, has guaranteed that Michael Vick won't get hurt this year. Why? Because Vick will be wearing a special kind of flak jacket to protect his ribs that Unequal Technologies makes.

This is no flash in the pan company; Unequal makes protective gear used by 75% percent of NFL teams, six NHL teams, and MLB umpires. Vick seems impressed with the vest, according to ESPN.com.

I'm looking forward to it … to give me more protection and just to see what comes out of it," Vick told the Philadelphia Daily News after Tuesday's practice. "It's going to be custom-fitted and fitted to protect all across my sternum, across my ribs. I think it'll be a better fit.

The vests are made of military grade composite materials, including Kevlar. Vick should know a thing or two about them, they gave him his first endorsement deal after prison. But wait, how did Vick get hurt in the in the first place? Oh, despite being a spokesman, Vick wasn't wearing the vest. Huh.
