Melania Trump and Rosie O’Donnell, Imperfect Catfight

Some dude named James Hunter made a fairly innocuous video of Barron Trump at his dad's 3am victory speech on Election Night. Hunter pointed out physical and behavioral signs that Trump's young son by Melania might be autistic. The video seems pretty creepy because all videos featuring slow motion close-ups of ten year old boys are inherently creepy. Hunter's intentions as laid out are to stop people from bullying Barron Trump's sleepy face, as many actually did following Trump's election win. Those people are even creepier than people who make slow motion mashups of young boys.

(Original video here, probably going down at some point very soon.)

None of this would've mattered until Rosie O'Donnell Tweeted out the link to the YouTube video that otherwise likely would've gone largely unnoticed. Now it has nearly four million views. Melania Trump has hired an attorney and is threatening to sue Hunter. He's claimed he's removing the video and will be offering an apology. He's also supposed to say that he has no real evidence that Barron Trump is autistic, even though his iMovie cut makes a fairly compelling contrary argument.

The real villain is Rosie O'Donnell, because loud fat people always are. Watch the movies, minus Melissa McCarthy films. While the original YouTube poster seems merely a nosy, but earnest anti-bully advocate, O'Donnell's insistence her intentions are purely parental concern is unnatural hogwash. You don't simply happen to comment helpfully about the kids of the person you hate the most in this world. It's a jibe. O'Donnell claims one of her adopted kids from one of her short lived lesbian marriages and not yet runaway was diagnosed with autism so she comes from a place of understanding. Nope, still a jibe.

Publicly labeling somebody else's kid autistic isn't a compliment. It's not like saying he's got a great throwing arm. Presumably, Barron has received best in the world medical attention from birth onward. O'Donnell and YouTube guy aren't seeing anything not reviewed previously over many years by real doctors. Either the kid is on the spectrum and the family is wholeheartedly denying it, or he's not, and they're wholeheartedly denying it. It's none of your fucking business. Maybe a little if you're making funny Barron memes. Less so if you're locked in your upstate New York art room eating three pounds of Fig Newtons and firing off long distance diagnoses about your long time rival's offspring. Even Harbaugh wouldn't do that shit.
