Marvel Brings Superhero Pinball to the 3DS (VIDEO)

For those who haven't picked up any of the Marvel Pinball tables for Xbox LIVE or PSN, you're seriously missing out on some old school arcade action. With several tables released to date including characters from all through the Marvel Universe, it was only a matter of time before they made the jump...into 3D.

Zen Studios has officially announced that they're bringing the much-beloved Marvel Pinball to the Nintendo 3DS. Marvel Pinball 3D will act as a standalone title and will be available on Nintendo's eShop this summer for $7.99. Four tables will be featured in the game: Iron Man, Blade, Captain America and the Fantastic Four.

• Live a day in the life of the Marvel Universe's favorite genius billionaire playboy philanthropist on the Iron Man table! Tony Stark literally suits up in his Iron Man armor to combat infamous foes like the Mandarin, Whiplash and Ultimo.
• Join Blade and Hannibal King in New York to fight off the vampiric forces led by Deacon Frost. Special lighting effects switch between day and night, so be sure to regenerate during the day in order to prepare for the battles after dark.
• Rally the troops and prepare to help Captain America and the Howling Commandos defeat Baron Zemo and the Red Skull, as you fight to control the power of the Cosmic Cube.
• Take on Doctor Doom alongside the Fantastic Four. Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Thing and the Human Torch are extra fantastic in beautiful 3D!

These Marvel Pinball tables will take advantage of the 3DS' stunning 3D capabilities to bring all your favorite Marvel heroes out of your handheld and into your lap. The game will also feature local multiplayer, leaderboards, Hero Score, Team Force and special rewards for completing missions on each table.
