Mark Sanchez Will Start the Jets’ Finale Which Isn’t Sitting Well with Tim Tebow

The New York Jets tire fire of a season will end up with Mark Sanchez under center after being benched because Greg McElroy got the living crap beat out of him by the Chargers in Week 16. McElroy was sacked 11 times in his first career start, and may have gotten a concussion. He hasn't been diagnosed officially yet, but was suffering a bad headache while lifting weights today. Head coach Rex Ryan decided to go with Sanchez because he led the Jets to a 48-28 win over the Bills in week one and New York faces Buffalo this week.

Ryan said Tim Tebow wasn't happy with the decision. I'm sure he wasn't. Why not let the guy get a start? That week one win over Buffalo was so long ago, and since then Sanchez has been putrid. It's not like the Jets need a win to get into the playoffs, so giving Tebow a start wouldn't be a bad thing. Then again, what else should we have expected from the Jets?
