Manchester City's Championship winning campaign has been an action packed adventure of goals, red cards and ill discipline. And no one sums up this roller-coaster ride of a season more than Mario Balotelli.
The Italian forward' has taken part in a number of questionable activities both on and off the pitch since his arrival from Inter Milan in the August of 2010, and this has seen him become a cult figure for many Premier League fans.
But what has Mario actually done to create his unpredictable reputation? Well here's a list of his greatest misdemeanours and triumphs from his time in Manchester.
August 2010 - Balotelli crashes his car just days after joining Manchester City. When a police officer asks him why he is carrying £5000 on him at the time he responds, "Because I am rich." Subtle.
October 2010 - Mario reportedly drives into a women's prison in Italy just to see what it looks like.
November 2010 - Throws a dart at a Manchester City youth team player during a training ground prank.
February 2011 - Balotelli drives to and confronts a bully in a school after a young Manchester City fan tells him he avoided school because of the abuse he was receiving.
February 2011 - Gives a homeless man £1000.
March 2011 - It takes Mario 21/2 minutes to put on a training bib before a crucial match against against Dinamo Kiev in the Europa League. A game he is ultimately sent off in.
July 2011- Substituted against LA Galaxy in a friendly after only 22 minutes due to an attempted back heel shot from the penalty spot.
September 2011 - Plays with his iPad whilst sat on the bench for Italy during their game with the Faroe Islands.
October 2011 - Sets off a firework in his home only hours before a crucial match against Manchester United that leads to the fire brigade coming to his home. Balotelli scores two goals in the encounter.
December 2011 - Breaks curfew to go to a curry house and is involved in a mock sword-fight using rolling pins.
December 2011 - On a visit to Chorlton-Cum-Hardy in Manchester he donates £200 to a local church, buys a £1000 round in a pub and purchases petrol for everybody at a petrol station.
March 2012 - Appears at the unveiling of Andrea Stramaccioni's first press conference as Inter Milan coach despite living over a thousand miles away and in a different country.
Mario has since insisted that several of these rumours aren't true. But I've decided to believe that he is mistaken and that everything I read about him is fact. For the good of the game.
