  Well, goddamn.

There are certain things that our friends in Japan just have down pat. When it comes to the pervtastic, they’re world leaders, what with their tentacle porn and panty vending machines on street corners and all.  But there’s more to the story than just that. Man, are these guys the best at making video game commercials too.

You know how it can be when a game’s been on the pre-launch hype train for a while. All of those trailers can start to look a bit samey, you’re re-using material, everyone’s getting a bit pissed because you’re hawking preorder exclusive DLC… it’s not a good time. So we need someone to shake things up. To put the hype back into hype. And Japanese DJ Tofubeats is just the man.

This could’ve just been a standard issue PS4 sizzle reel. A quick and simple ogle at a couple of big upcoming titles. That’s not the way they do things around here, though. Nuts to that. We’re taking the more dramatic, flashy, musical, utterly batshit approach.

Check out Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Dragon Quest Heroes II and more, being advertised the right way.
