Make It Real: ‘Back to the Future’ Hoverboard (VIDEO)

This right here is the HUVr and it's a hoverboard. Yep, that's right, and it looks a lot like the one Marty McFly was flying around on in Back to the Future. And while the teaser makes it appear like it's a real, up and coming product, it's unfortunately fake.

It's still a pretty entertaining clip anyway, and if you look closely, you'll see that several celebs and well-known personalities--including rapper Schoolboy Q, and Dr. Emmett Brown (aka Christopher Lloyd) from Back to the Future--were all in on the elaborate prank. Needless to say, scores of people fell victim to the prank as the clip quickly went viral shortly after it was posted online.

It might not be real now but here's to hoping it will be in the future!
