There is nothing realistic about Home Alone. Not the parents forgetting their eight-year-old child and flying to France. Not the cops refusing to find and help that eight-year-old child. Not the burglars' desire to rob a house when they know someone is inside. Not that someone's refusal to dial 911 from his own house. Not the idea that people could mistake firecrackers for machine gun fire. And especially not the idea that someone could take a flying paint can to the face and just get up like nothing happened.
However, suppose all that could actually happen. What would an adult Kevin McCallister be like?
Well, according to a new short starring Macaulay Culkin himself, he'd be a neurotic, paranoid, homicidal maniac. So...awesome!
Take a look:
Personally, I'm glad to see that Macaulay takes breaks from his job as the frontman for a pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band to do some acting every once in a while. He may look like a young Kid Rock, but he's still got that charisma.
