Lucy Liu Helped End A Marriage

Taye Diggs had a celebrity Chinese secret by the name of Lucy Liu. She was the woman he was allowed to cheat with while still legally in love with his wife Idina Menzel. But love is a two street. And Idina had her side of fries too. His name was Colin Farrell. Sometimes divorce is difficult because you have to decide which partner leaves your life forever with the recently installed outdoor hot tub. It’s easier just to sleep with other people until it leads to apologies and appreciation of your spouse or unpremeditated murder and a one hour special on the show Snapped.

While appearing on PEOPLE Now on Monday, Taye Diggs revealed who he and Idina Menzel chose as their “celebrity hall pass” when they were married. (The two separated in 2013 and finalized their divorce the following year.)

“I remember Idina’s was Colin Farrell, and then she immediately got a movie with him,” he said. “Mine at the time was Lucy Liu, and that’s right when I got Ally McBeal.”

The takeaway here is that they both should have picked better talent to end a marriage over. If Colin’s performance in bed was the same as in the Killing of a Sacred Deer then I’m not surprised that the Idina didn’t stay with him after she eventually left her husband. And by just looking at Lucy it was easy to tell that she would age in dog years. She still has the body of your favorite fetish category that you still won’t tell your friends about but her face is living 10 years ahead of everything else on her.
