Lindsay Lohan is an Alcoholic Too?

I don't know if this is just a new fashion statement for Lindsay Lohan, or if it's really true, but the beleaguered was star was spotted wearing a red "Ninety Days" sobriety chip. The type given to people in Alcoholics Anonymous.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but a big part of Alcoholics Anonymous is the anonymous part, no? You don't see a lot of people proudly displaying their sobriety chip on their chest. Knowing Lindsay, though, wearing the chip could just be another attempt at getting everyone's attention, or maybe it's just her idea of a cute accessory.

And while I don't doubt that Lindsay may very well have a problem with the sauce, I'm pretty sure that going out to clubs every night 'till 5 am isn't the best environment to be in if you're trying to stay sober. You know, temptation and all that.

If she really is trying to be sober, than more power to her, but I'd like to hear from any bartenders out there in LaLa land who can call bullshit on this?

Update: It's not Lindsay's chip. She's wearing it honor of a friend. Which still brings up the whole anonymous bit. Of course, this doesn't mean Lindsay isn't an alcoholic.
