The inevitable has finally happened. Lindsay Lohan is in rehab. And all I can say is it's about fucking time. According to Us Online, Lindsay went into the luxurious Wonderland Center rehab facility, in Los Angeles' Laurel Canyon, at 2:30 p.m. on wednesday. Here is her statement:

"I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well-wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time."

Of course, leave it to Lindsay to get in every last second of partying that she can. Witnesses say she was out until 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning, following a night at the Golden Globes after parties where she appeared to be "totally out of it."

Though Lohan didn't attend the Golden Globe Awards, the actress was spotted at Prince's after-party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel where "she was totally out of it," according to an onlooker.

Witnesses say that the starlet partied until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

I can't say I'm really surprised, except that I thought she'd never even make it to rehab. I was expecting reports more along the lines of "Lindsay Lohan found face down in the gutter, choked on her own vomit," or "Lindsay Lohan in drunken car crash, 27 dead."

Well, good for her, I guess. I'm sure it'll be only a few more days until we hear stories of late night parties with other rehabers. No word yet on the kind of door at the center, but money is on revolving.

Here are some pictures of Lindsay living it up in the good old days, or as most of know it, December.
