It's always excited when Steven Spielberg has a new movie coming out. And we're even more excited that the world's most intense method actor Daniel Day-Lewis is the lead, portraying our 16th President, Abraham Lincoln. The film come out just before Thanksgiving but the production has been pretty tight-lipped and we still haven't seen any trailers and only one official image. But we finally have our first poster, cementing the erie resemblance between Day-Lewis and Lincoln, making us believe it's quite possible Spielberg actually had a time machine built and brought the actual Lincoln back to play himself, Bill and Ted-style.

Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award® winner Daniel Day-Lewis in "Lincoln," a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.

Lincoln opens in limited release on November 9, 2012, with expansion on November 16, 2012.

Let's hope Day-Lewis is as evocative as Lincoln in the video below.
