The Mobile World Congress is kicking off on February 26, but here's one more quick announcement to give you a peek of what's in store at the conference: the LG Optimus 4X HD.
Just a few days ago, LG also unveiled the Optimus L3, L5, and L7, which you should expect to see alongside the Optimux 4X HD if you're going to the mobile trade show.
Like the three other phones, the Optimux 4X HD runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It's equipped with a 1.5Ghz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The 8.9-millimeter thick phone will be featuring a huge 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 IPS display, an 8-megapixel back camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
The cool thing about the Tegra 3 is that it offers a "companion core" with its "4-plus-1" setup, which extends battery life when you find yourself needing to use the phone when it's in a low power state.
The LG Optimus 4X HD will be released in the European market first and will reach store shelves by Spring.
