Some things are so monumentally awful, so goddamn hugely terrible, that they shake your faith in humanity. The latest dumbassery doing the rounds on Facebook, for instance (the Drink Gasoline and Run Around the Neighborhood with Your Wang Out Challenge, do it and tag four buddies!), or that time Kanye West was called a ‘genius.’Â
When you see this sort of BS, there’s no going back. You’ll forever live in a world where Bieber is celebrated like some skinny-ass Canadian deity. Still, don’t despair. Equally, something will come along that restores your faith in people. Sometimes. For a little bit.
Take that horribly craptacular Forza Horizon 3 custom Xbox One S we saw earlier this week. It was a limited run of three consoles given away by Xbox Germany, and it sucked gorilla gonads whichever way you sliced it. My belief in custom consoles took a knock I never thought I’d recover from. Then, out of no-damn-where, this sexy thing appeared.
As though by way of apology for that thing last time, we’ve got another special edition console to mark the release of the new racer. This one’s Australia exclusive, WCCFTech reports (what with Horizon 3 being set there and all), and is based on the game’s cover car, the Lamborghini Centenario.
‘Much like the $2 million dollar car that inspired its looks and also features on the cover of Forza Horizon 3, the first and only Lamborghini Centenario Xbox One S is reminiscent of the Italian manufacturer’s striking design and state-of-the-art engineering. With its gunmetal body, matching wireless controller and signature yellow trimmings, the console truly looks as sleek as it sounds,’ Xbox say. It’s damn sexy and I want it but I’m not Australian, I tell them.
