Knit Your Way Through The Kama Sutra

The Kama Sutra is an ancient Hindu book which shows different sexual positions and techniques to perform Tantric Yoga. That's basically using your dong to achieve enlightenment or something. I've flipped through the Kama Sutra and I know for certain that I am too overweight and inflexible to do most of those positions. I guess they are meant for advanced yogis and not fat Cuban writers. But if you can knit you can get a flavor for what the Kama Sutra is like by knitting little figures getting it on in different freaky positions. The book "Knit Your Own Kama Sutra" was written by Geraldine Warner, a woman who decided to bring the ancient Indian tome to life with little yarn dudes getting frisky. She says,

"I had lots of fun looking through any Kama Sutra books I could get my hands on (including a bizarre one with a joyless, terrifying looking gentleman strenuously holding each stance) to come up with the right positions. I brainstormed the funniest situations I could think of, then retreated to my knitting boudoir for 5 months to make it all happen."

I still can't hope to twist myself into those shapes. I'll just be sitting in the dark, naked, and knitting my little porno pals.
