Kim Kardashian is finally launching her new skincare line called SKKN, a name the has already got her some backlash since two other beauty brands with the name already exist.. but that's not why were here today.

The brand is claiming to be sustainable but seems to be missing the mark with their "refill" system. The brand says that they want you to refill responsibly and usually that means you can send in your finished jar of product and receive a new one at lower cost.

Instead, Skkn is being accused of "greenwashing" by offering refill bottles that you insert into another bottle. Basically creating more plastic waste for no real reason. On a positive note, all nine products are clean, cruelty-free, vegan, and formulated without phenoxyethanol, gluten, sulfates, BHT, and PEGs.

We weren't the only ones to notice how confusing this attempt at sustainability is, users on Instagram asked the brand for some clarification and were left just as confused after the brand replied. Will you be buying into Kim's Skkn?
