Social media queen and KUWTK Facetime aficionado Kim Kardashian is proving to be an unlikely inspiration for those wishing to unplug at home and not live their lives entirely through their phones. In a sneak peak clip from this upcoming Monday's Ellen, Kim talks about Kanye West's measured return to Twitter. And while she has a grab bag of tweets from Kanye to choose from, she addresses this particular exchange:
Sometimes you have to get rid of everything

Wait...EVERYTHING?!?!?! https://t.co/0wrL1c0shB

Kim explains the tweets to Ellen:
I hear him say all these things in the house - just about, I think, what he was saying about, really the 'everything' he was talking about clarity. He always talks about how we should not have our phones first thing in the morning, and in the house, when we’re with the kids, let’s not have our phones. It’s our rule that we really try to live by. So I think he was talking about cleansing.
While the public might have assumed that the pics he was tweeting of his house (below) had something to do with West using his phone inside his house, this is not the case. You h8ers. West and Kardashian both made a pact to put their phones down and just enjoy the three minutes a day that they have to spend with their children. And the results speak for themselves. Have Kim and Kanye inspired you to use social media responsibly? To have restraint in any capacity? Let us know.
Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media! Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home? https://t.co/bUMAn29K5K
