Kate Bosworth in a Bikini!

Kate Bosworth, like many of the other disconnected celebrities, is posting her political rants. I really find it difficult to get inspired by a celebrity's opinion on anything except maybe the movie making process because they live in a pretty luxurious bubble so far removed from actual "America".

This is not to target Kate Bosworth's beliefs, or question her authenticity because I am sure she is passionate about all the things she is posting, but when you're sitting in a mansion in Los Angeles, one of the more interesting examples of a divided city, where the extreme wealth divide is so obvious. You can walk through West Hollywood or Beverly Hills or even Santa Monica and feel like you are in a "resort town" amongst the occassional inconvenience of homeless people.

I just don't really like social media activism, if you really believe these things, escape that bubble and get involved rather than posting memes! Not to mention, actors are supposed to entertain us, not remind us how fucked up the world is! What happened to escapism!

So amongst her memes requesting Ken and Karen, the lawyers with the AR-15 going after people on their property get disbarred, to donating 1 penny per Trump Tweet in some activism called "Defeat Trump", basically blaming him for misogyny (spelled wrong), racism and brutality, if you care about what's behind the bikini picture she "peppered" in.

I don't know about you, but all this political nonsense gets in the way of fun!
