Good heavens, that seems like a comfy dress. I wish they would start making formal wear for men that is both socially acceptable while also not feeling as stiff as a blind date. The closest men have to something that looks classy and comfy is a smoking jacket, but even then we get stuck wearing a collared shirt under it. What is the point of wearing a soft fabric that one does not even get to feel against their skin? It seems like a cruel joke to me. All I am asking for is something that can look like a tuxedo and feel like a t-shirt, is that unreasonable? Maybe I need to stipulate that a tuxedo t-shirt is also unacceptable. I have done my best to persuade people otherwise, but they seem adamant in their disapproval. Apparently in the bride's words I was being "disrespectful" and "an embarrassment to our family". I personally do no understand it. It is as if some people do not want to see me happy and comfortable. I guess I am stuck in the monkey suit for the foreseeable future unless I want to be ostracized from my family, which seems more appealing with every occasion.
