Things That Make You Go Damn! – Justin Verlander’s Destructive Fastball

YouTube is awesome. Not only has it brought us countless videos of babies looking cute and cats acting like humans, but it has made it possible for fans to see everything in the world of sports that is bad *ss, awesome, totally cool, and can't miss. In short, they are sports videos that make you go: daaaammmmnnnn!!!

First up in this series is one that you've seen if you are a baseball fan, but not quit in this fashion. I'm talking about Justin Verlander and his amazing fastball.

If you are a baseball fan, let alone a Detroit Tigers fan, you've seen what Verlander can do. Batters around the league fear the stuff that this man can throw at them. He's one of the best in the league, and his 100 MPH fastball is just one of many tools that the veteran has at his disposal.

After his dismal performance at the All-Star game Justin needed to prove himself. He also needed to show that having an ultra-hot girlfriend (like Kate Upton) was only bad luck for Tony Romo (although it appears that Romo has dodged a bullet--a large bullet--when he and Jessica Simpson broke up).

Watch what his fastball did to Gordon Beckham's bat Friday. I think it is safe to say his fastball is not something to be taken lightly!
